TECMES was the provider of the level, precipitation
and conductivity sensors required by ICSA (province of Mendoza)
and by the Irrigation Department of said province to carry out a
work called Development of a hydro-meteorological information
system in the province of Mendoza and financed by a loan from
the Banco Mundial.
The provision
of equipment and instructions for its installation, operation and
maintenance included TS 310 level sensors of the floating and pressure
type with digital local indication.
The fact that
said equipment was chosen due to its remarkable accuracy (less than
1 cm in ranges of 10 metres) and its operative reliability in temperature
operation ranges from 30°C to +60°C is worthy of mention.
The provision
also included rain meter sensors, a TS 220 tipping bucket with a
capacity of 0,1 mm, and water conductivity sensors of the TS 280,
without electrodes.
The total amount
of supplied sensors was 176, distributed as follows:
Level sensors:
99
Conductivity sensors:
64
Precipitation sensors
13
