Some of the activities carried out by AyEE are measuring, treatment and registration of watersheds hydro-meteorological data for the accomplishment of hydric researches destined to the energy exploitation of dams and reservoirs and for future energetic projects.

Thus, measurement of river and rainfoll levels was required at different points of the country with a great climatic variety and under severe and complex situations of installation. This should be accomplished by reliable data-store systems in the rural equipment which should allow data transference to computers for its later analysis and filing into a data bank.

Based upon AyEE specifications, TECMES developed and manufactured a considerable amount of equipment designed for such purpose and denominated as TS 1300 Solid-state Memory Recorders with TS310-P and TS 310-F pressure and flout level sensors.

Since then, TECMES has been said to be the only company in providing AyEE with this class of instruments, in addition to be being in charge of both the installation and maintenance of equipment.

The fact that TECMES’s technicians assisted to the equipment locations in order to offer courses in installation and operation of said equipment is worthy to be mentioned.
